Haul: Asian skincare and makeup from Sasa (with lots of pictures~ :D)

Hey everyone ~

I haven't posted here for a while. For the past year I've been very busy with school (engineering T_T) and internships, but I'm trying very hard to make blogging a part of my life, as I find it very enjoyable and stress-relieving ^_^. Lately I've been obsessed with skincare, especially Asian masks, so I decided to place an order on Sasa to get some of the masks I've wanted and that I can't get here where I live (+ I had some bonus points to spend for freebies :D).

I got free shipping by spending over $100 (which means buying tons of stuff and hurting my wallet ;_;) and shipping was surprisingly fast; my items arrived in 2 weeks from Singapore to Canada. They separated my order into 3 packages, which was a pain to track and to obtain, as the parcels arrived on different dates, but overall, everything was packaged well with bubble wraps :3 (except for an item that leaked, which I will mention later on). So, I'm quite satisfied with this purchase and I will definitely order from Sasa again! :D

#1: Kose Clearturn Hyaluronic Acid Essence Mask

I decided to start with the masks I bought, since it is the main reason why I placed this order. I purchased this set of mask because it was so cheap and it came with 30 masks. When it arrived, I was kind of disappointed with the packaging, as the masks were not packaged individually, so once I open it, I will have to be careful about storing it.

Apparently this can last until 2020, which is amazing :O

#2: Kose Clearturn Eye Zone Mask Q10

These are the first eye masks I ever bought! I've always been a bit skeptical about eye masks as usual masks can cover up the under eye area, but I'm hoping these would actually do more for my eye bags after insomniac nights =_=.

#3: Kose Medicated Q10 Hand Cream

This order has really been my discovery with the brand Kose! I needed a new hand cream so I bought this. I wasn't expecting it to contain that much product though, not that I'm complaining or anything. ^_^

#4: Haruhada Basic Care Mask Vitamin Whitening Mask

Here comes... more masks! :D I bought two boxes of these because it gave me a free lip balm if I did, and I love freebies ^_^. I'm hoping these masks could help fade my sun spots, which have been growing in number on my face this summer >_<.

#5: Sana Soya Milk Whitening Moisture Toner

I bought this toner because I've heard good reviews about it, and toners are an essential part of my skincare regiment. ^_^ It also came with a free mini-cleanser, which is nice. One thing that bothered me was the fact that this leaked in its packaging, so it was a bit sticky when I got it. However, most of the product is still in the bottle, so I'm happy :) just gotta be careful when I store it because I don't want it to spill more...

#6: Innisfree Green Tea Seed Serum

I've always been curious about Innisfree, ever since Yoona helped advertising this Korean brand :P. I decided to try this product because I've heard about it on Youtube and I love serums.

#7: Innisfree Ultrafine Pact

Now, moving on to makeup product. I've never tried setting powders from Asian brands, so I'm curious as to how they compare to those from American brands. I know that some drugstore powders can make my face look very cakey, so I'm usually very careful with buying powders. This one seems to have good reviews though! The colour is in #13 Light Beige, hopefully it matches my skin tone >_<.

#8: 3 Concept Eyes Waterful Concealer

3 Concept Eyes is another Korean brand I've been curious about :P. I went for the concealer because it reminds me of the Kat Von D Lock-It Concealer, which is the concealer I've been loving for a while. I went for the #001 colour because it appeared to be more yellow on the website, and I have yellow undertones.

#9: Visee Tear Drop Liner

I've just tried this today and it looks amazing! *w* It's not too noticeable, but it gives a nice highlight to the inner corner of the eye, which I like. The texture is a jelly formula, and it is easy to apply.

Haul & Review: Taobao clothes, bags, shoes, and accessories (with LOTS of pictures!! :3)

Hi everyone ~

I meant to post this before school started, but I did not get the time because my internship ended quite late. So, I am posting this now, after a busy term at school has been over. T_T"

I asked my aunt to help me order a few things from Taobao, and she shipped them to me in Canada, which is so nice of her :3 . For those of you who do not know it, Taobao is like an Ebay store in China. I am always quite skeptical about buying from them, as the things are so cheap. I have ordered once before, and some things I bought never arrived, which made me very disappointed. However, I do have to say that I did not encounter any problems when ordering this time, which means that their services may have improved, or I am just quite lucky ^_^".

#1: SuperLover navy floral backpack

Yay ~ I was so happy to get a new backpack ~ I had my old brown JanSport bag for a few years now, and it got holes at the bottom. When I saw this bag, I immediately fell in love *_*. It also came with a notebook as a freebie :3. However, after using it for 3 months, one zipper broke, and the crochet thingy on the other zipper fell off, which I had to sew back on. I was a little bit disappointed with the quality, and I don't think I will repurchase a backpack from this store.

 

 

#2: Beige chiffon dress with crochet collar

This dress is so cute *_* and comfy ~ However, being 5'7, this dress looks quite short on me, so I might have to wear something underneath. The lace and crochet detailing is so cute, and I can't wait for summer to come to wear this XD.

#3: Green shirt with white polka dots

This shirt appeared to me more formfitting when I saw it on the website. It is very loose, so I would wear it with a pair of dark skinny jeans and some white flats. I really like the lace detailing, but I was a little bit deceived by the fabric and the cut :\. In addition, the buttons seem like they would fall off easily.

#4: White shirt with floral collar

This shirt is just so girly and it was love at first sight for me *w*. I just had to get it. However, the cut is very similar to the green shirt above, which I do not like. I do prefer this shirt over the green shirt because of the fabric, as I can tuck it into a circle skirt, which is the next item I got. The buttons on this shirt are so adorable ~ but they seem like they would fall off easily.

#5: Navy circle skirt

This skirt did not seem very special on the website, but I purchased it because I thought it will go well with many things. When I got it, I was amazed by the quality and the way it looks on me. I do not really have any negative things to say about this skirt, except the fact that it is quite short, but I like short skirts, so it did not really matter to me XD.

#6: Beige open knit cardigan

This cardigan is great for the colder weather, and the quality is amazing for the price. I have been wearing this piece a lot, whether it's for going out or just lounging around. This is definitively a piece I would recommend! ^_^

#7: Pink dragon kigurumi

This was the most exciting item I wanted to order. I asked for the green one, but ended up getting the pink one, which I really like as well ^_^. The material is soooo soft and comfy, and the quality is very good. This keeps me really warm, a little too warm when I sleep in it even during the winter time @_@". In addition, I would have preferred if it was a zipper instead of buttons, but oh well :\.

#8: Bow crochet flats

 

I got these flats because they looked cute and they were quite cheap. They fit me perfectly and they are as comfy as slippers, except that I can wear them outside the house :3. The only downside to these shoes is that the quality is not that great.

 

 

#9: Pink pumps with white bow

 

I fell in love with these shoes because they were so pretty *_* (as you can see from what I bought, I love bows ~). These fit really tight, so I am expecting blisters from these shoes T_T.
